The Export Process and HTS/Schedule B Classification: An Overview by Ric Frantz hosted by the College of Lake County and the SBDC

Ric Frantz of LR International will be leading a free workshop on the export process and HTS/Schedule B Classification for current exporters and companies new to exporting. The free workshop includes the below topics along with general export advice.

  • External Service Providers and What They Have to Offer
  • Differences between Schedule B & Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and how to decide which one to use

Example break downs of HTS 10-Digit numbers and Shipper's Export Declarations will be reviewed to show how exporters send reporting requirements to the U.S. Bureau of Census via the Automated Export System (AES).
